Position Reporting Lines:
Position Reporting Lines: Position that the job reports to and positions that the job is responsible for Requirements Gathering & Analysis senior engineer reports to service planning manager.

Main Job Purpose:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements of new IT service and change requests.


Accountabilities, Tasks, Duties:

Each and every task that the job holder does and responsible for including relationship with other parties:

  • Conduct interviews sessions with service owners from the business side.
  • Collect all information relevant to new services and changes.
  • Ensure that all new changes didn’t developed before by revising the IT services portfolio.
  • Prepare requirements assessment and evaluation document to indicate the implementation feasibility.
  • Negotiation skills to collect information from requesters.
  • Map Business requirements into technical representation.
  • Map out tactics that fit the details of the requirements and their implementation.

Indoors, Outdoors, etc. include relationship.

  • Must be able to estimate project/Change work force and equipment demands of the project fairly accurately.
  • Must be familiar with the technology used in planning projects/Changes and be able to work with software to produce solutions and application methods.
  • Must also be able to map out strategies that fit the details of the project/Change, and at the same time understand how each step fits into the bigger picture.

Job Minimum Requirements :

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in such engineering specialties, IT or Computer Science.

Experience:

Three years of experience in the IT field.
Exposure to the Service Management standards; ITIL Foundation.

Languages:
English and Arabic.
