Job Summary: 
• To manage the establishment and delivery of music content for MTN’s media and entertainment strategy into mobile and home.

Description: 
Strategy Implementation & Planning:
1. Ensure effective implementation of the MTN Music strategy in line with the overarching business goals and ensure that MTN maintains and improves its leadership positioning within video area.
Governance:
1. Set up / participate in adhoc and operational meetings.
2. Manage and resolve escalations that have impact on critical path of service delivery.
3. Escalate issues that will result in significant time, scope, employees / customers or cost impacts if not resolved.
4. Manage and provide solutions to issues that require formal resolution.
Performance:
5. Review performance against agreed KPIs and compliance to SLAs.
6. Create and monitor plan for continuous improvement.
Reporting:
7. Report on a monthly basis to management relating to progress made within the sub-division and in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organisation.
8. Report on an ad hoc basis on specific projects as and when necessary.
Budgets:
1. Manage sub-divisional budgets in line with business objectives.
2. Manage project or initiative budgets in line with business objectives.
Operational Delivery:
Music Operations Management:
 Manage Music operations support and services framework.
 Provide operational reporting and performance measurements of all Music initiatives.
 Endeavour to lower costs, improve effectiveness in the operations environment.
 Analyse, assess and manage key internal and external performance indicators.
 Identify, conceptualise and implement new and ongoing Music initiatives in line with the strategy and within specified timelines.
 Develop and manage relationships with technology partners in the industry.
 Oversee the new product deployments and initiatives.
 Provide and manage executive reports and analytics reporting to various stakeholders.
 Oversee and develop action plans on daily, weekly and monthly basis consumer incidents, errors, maintenance etc.
 Develop consumption analysis and reporting of content.

Content Management:
 Input into the development of the Music portfolio by ensuring Music partners are sourced and launched on the GSDP.
 Curate Music content to ensure all Music content is collected, organised and displayed appropriately on the GSDP.
 Conduct thorough research on various platforms in order to source the optimal Music content.
 Source the right content is for the right channels.
 Ensure Music content aggregation.
 Organise Music content is ordered on the GSDP so that it is easily accessed/found by customers.
 Input into the creation and management of a content calendar and strategy that covers all Music related touch points.
 Manage the collection of Music content from all stakeholders and content owners within MTN operations and ensure alignment to content calendar and strategy.
 Work with content owners to ensure that Music content is relevant and up to date at all times.
 Collaborate with the Social media team to ensure alignment and synergy of content across Music touch points.
Process and Procedure Effectiveness:
 Input into the defining and monitoring of the execution of Music content management processes and procedures for MTN operations.
 Participate in the implementation of all content management processes and procedures and ensure they are aligned to the set operational framework for MTN Group & MTN Sudan.
 Assist with the improvement of existing processes and procedures to enhance effectiveness, efficiency and performance.
Quality Management:
 Ensure the establishment of systems and practices in order to comply with best practices, legislation or other regulations and guidelines around Music.
 Ensure the establishment and maintenance of Music quality/process standards that will enhance the customer experience and cost efficiency.
 Manage the Music content hierarchy, usability, and users’ requirements and needs.
 Adhere to standard operating procedures.
 Communicate the consequences of not maintaining Music quality/process focus.
 Manage the improvement of Music channel processes and procedures where the quality of work may be improved.
Customer Satisfaction:
 Align service delivery to changing needs of the business and markets.
 Understand customer needs and develop and fine-tune initiatives accordingly.
 Ensure customer needs and requirements are satisfied through appropriate systems, processes and procedures.
 Initiate change to continually improve all aspects of service delivery.
 Drive continuous improvement as an important element of service delivery.
 Identify trends and patterns pertaining to customer requests and needs to continually.

Job Requirements: 
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Telecommunication, or any relevant field. Post-graduation in the related subject is preferred. 
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in area of specialization. 
• Experience working in a medium to large organization.
