As a Commercial Strategy Manager you will be asked to support the development and delivery of the overall trade commercial strategy by working closely with the relevant teams to analyse performance of individual categories, maximize opportunities that arise within each and refine ongoing strategies to ensure future performance and growth across the overall trade customer base.
Although a standalone role, as a senior member of the team you will play an active role in the leadership of the Category and Customer Marketing team to support their ongoing development.
Your main duties & responsibilities will be :-
• Responsible for forecasting commercial business planning/budgeting process. • Identify and quantify gaps in key commercial performance areas & strategies. • Through analysis of performance gaps, identify focus areas and suggest improvement in strategy. • Maintain updated Commercial KPIs as per the required frequency for analytical purposes. • Responsible for the development & monitoring of the Commercial strategy and its translation into actionable plans. • Management of the commercial roadmap in terms of prioritization, based on the business impact on the strategy objectives. • Monitor the Commercial Roadmap and push projects completion on timely manner through the Commercial PMO. • Insure the internal roadmap inside commercial division and with other stack holders (technology, PR…etc.). • Also assist in the development of all inter-departmental and cross functional processes, systems, and templates to standardize functions. • Drive continuous improvement of Commercial strategy based on Research, Brand performance & MIS. • Support development of segmentation strategy along to refine pricing strategy, distribution strategy, branding strategy and product strategy. • Support “Remedy” function from within Commercial along with delivering all corporate level initiatives coming from Strategic leadership team and/or other operational excellence teams. • Reviews market research and market trends and translate consumer behaviours into next strategic steps and prioritization. • Undertake any additional relevant tasks/activities as delegated by the Zain management .

WHAT DO I NEED
You will be required to have Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Social Science , Telecom , Computer Science/ Engineering , IT or any relevant discipline with minimum 5 years’ experience in senior commercial role .
Also it will be an advantage for you if you have MBA or any marketing qualification .
You will be required to have Sound knowledge of current best practice methodologies PMO , project management , business development, or market research methods and approaches with Mobile Telecommunications and product knowledge.
You will be asked to have an experience in developing business processes, SLA’s, KPI’s and business rules .
