What
As part of Zain SD team you will effectively and efficiently accountable for Quality of Service of all the department outputs and business support systems .
How
In this role your major tasks and responsibilities will be :
- Accountable for writing and executing both manual and automated test cases for IT new product or services.
- Responsible for test design and risk based testing
- Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated.
- Participate in the upgrade of IT software releases that are required to keep the business systems up to date and to minimize the risk of de-stabilising the business
- Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the system quality and policies into compliance with the quality system requirements.
- Directs quality initiatives by requiring adherence to quality assurance policies and procedures; developing new models; implementing changes.
- Ensure the running services are not affected by new launched services and products or activities.
- Monitor IT products and services performance and make appropriate recommendations.
- Manage relationships and agreements with contractors, suppliers and partners
- IT Focal point for Revenue Assurance/Fraud management and Business Excellence departments related issues
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies & regulatory requirements on Information Security.
Qualifications
You will be required to have:- Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years experience in related field.
- Experience in communication and presentation skills using English language.
- Knowledge and experience of RDBMS.
- Knowledge and experience of Windows, Linux and Solaris OS.
- Knowledge and experience of Shell scripting
- Knowledge and experience in SDLC, XML and PHP is desirable.
- Previous experience in TQM & billing systems.
- Tools for Software Test Automation is advance
- Knowledge of IT Infrastructure is advantage
