Billing system administration, operation, availability and efficiency; To ensure that MTN has an excellent understanding of customers and potential customers based on accurate and statistically robust data
Description:
- Manage the implementation of Revenue assurance activities, Bill cycle management, Interconnect, Roaming and SIM Management.
- Provide 2nd level support and follow-up with contractors for any System Malfunction or Change Request.
- Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes
- Month-end closing of the billing group information
- Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
- Special program/billing planning and implementation
- Personnel development; staff meetings
- Staffing discussions and planning/interviews; Team building
- Field Operators’ problem escalation and customer service
- Assist with the implementation of a new billing system
- Monitor activation of new Post-paid Lines.
- Manage SIM Processes. .
- Define SIM technical specs according to business needs.
- Design and Plan all requirements for commercial offers as per business needs.
- Ensure the coverage of SIM cards according to the company needs.
- Develop Plans to enhance the system performance.
- Perform all security checks for the Platform and the Service.
- Assist and follow up contractors experts in upgrading the Platform and the service.
- Monitor the overall Billing System availability (Provisioning, Mediation, Interconnect, Rating, CRM and Roaming).
- Setting Smart KPI’s for the team members in alignment with company performance framework
- Help in capacity planning and budget forecast to maintain the company growth and department operation
- Ensure after implementation support service within IT SLA enforcing the ITSM standard
- Ensure proper execution for core IT processes (Change, Demand and Configuration Management)
- Ensure the execution with IT processes with the existing ITSM solution
- Participate in new extension design.
- Participate in new services and offers implementation.
- Administer the user access across all Billing System components
- Plan new services according to business needs.
- Negotiate and agree with all concerned parties on projects execution to deliver the required results in order to meet the needs of the business.
- Motivate, coach and lead teams to ensure that individuals possess the skills and capability required to deliver team objectives.
- Develop and implement policies, and functional procedures pertaining, to the security, maintenance and use of the database and management systems.
- Mediation Management.
- Stock Management.
- Perform Ad-Hoc duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology
• 5 years of relevant working experience
• A strong background in managing Billing Activity in a telecommunications context
