What?
You will be fully accountable as and responsible for the ongoing development and content management of digital vehicles and Zain online platforms, Zain Website & blogs used for commercial purpose.
Lead the development, planning and execution through the marketing utilization of all media entities owned by Zain and broadcasting tools in order to promote products and services to all clients.
Duties will include strategy development for social media platforms and oversight of social media postings.
How?
Your main key tasks / duties will be :
- Design digital media campaigns aligned with business goals, and achieve the target business strategic objectives, Market share, leadership, etc…
- Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g. website, blogs, social media content and podcasts).
- Manage end-to-end digital projects .Establish Zain web presence to boost brand awareness.
- Maintain a strong online company presence through social media.
- Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Product development teams to ensure brand consistency.
- Monitor ROI and KPIs.
- Keep up-to-date with digital media developments.
- Manage the website Pages & content with extensive planning, also classify and maintain updated information.
- Work with the appropriate plan to ensure that content is provided accurately and in a relevant manner to all audiences (English and Arabic) to develop site traffic according to user favourability.
- Create new features for the pages; research, evaluate and test new Software, publishing tools related to the website. Administrate the web pages; update the content including coordination with the copy editing with the addition or removal of web site items and content upon request.

- Lead the development and implementation of a strategic plan for Corporate’s web site. Regularly consulting with team/project owners and management depending on assessed needs and develop recommendations.
- Coordinate and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with all marketing sections & other departments in order to effectively communicate and support web-based services related to their goals and objectives.
- Scan over all Zain website materials and communicated information to guarantee the accuracy, the harmony of information flow and to ensure that webpage content is in alignment with Zain Values, aims and objectives.
- Develop long term goals and objectives within the Group guide lines for all on line media channels website social media and other internet or digital Media.
- Coordinate with the Media Production to create suitable contents for usage in social media; also work closely with the Copywriter to insure the communication and the language are up to Zain quality and meet the audience requirements and expectation.
- Follow up with vendor (out resource) to assure all requests are processed as agreed, and attend and conduct meetings related to information and contents on the website.
- Manage all In House Media (all media belonging to Zain) that include SMS broadcasting system, Centralized broadcasting Screens, Auto-dialler, Email Marketing, Switch Messages, Network Announcements, CCIVR, and USSD Commands etc…, and to plan, implement and follow-through of all "in house media" and media-related functions for broadcast.
- Establish In House Media objectives and processes which require delivering the desired results, and maintaining powerful and an effective broadcasting mechanism, and balance Zain need for publication/communication while observing customer satisfaction; by regulating broadcasting volume.
- Making use of SMS services to promote products & services through text messages for broadcasting to all customers or segments targeted, and undertake the responsibility of sending promotional messages to targeted markets in the form of SMS, or other switch messages used effectively.
- Using SMS integration to collect information from customers through short codes and compile the collected data to be provided clearly upon request.
- Using E-mail Marketing to promote services as a unique way when dealing with clients.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required and undertake any additional relevant tasks/activities as delegated by the Advertising Media and production team leader.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies & regulatory requirements on Information Security.
What Do I Need?
You will be asked to have :
- B.Sc. degree in Multimedia, IT, Marketing, Digital media or relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a Digital media expert for two to three years.
- Additional qualification in web design or animation is a plus.
- Familiarity with web design and content management systems.
Those Soft Skills?
You are also required to have the following soft skills:
- Highly developed communication and reporting skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic & English ·
- Knowledge of consumer behavior and local culture.
- Experience with visual communication principles, and MS Office packages including Access.
