Job Summary:
• To coordinate and implement the BCM programmes in MTN SD and to safeguard against ensure recovery from all types of business disruption risks (technical, geopolitical, industry, regulatory etc.).
Description:
- Manage execution of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) strategy and plan for MTN Sudan in line with ISO22301 and ISO31000 standards for BCM and Risk Management.
- Control, create, implement, exercise and maintain Business Continuity Management and disaster recovery plans and ensure data centre operations and network recovery planning efforts are aligned to business recovery objectives.
- Operate the governance of MTN Sudan enterprise-wide Business Continuity Management programme, including policies, roles and responsibilities, maturity model, methodologies, strategies, plans, annual agenda, metrics and programme scorecard for all components of the programme.
- Implement enterprise-wide Business Continuity Management awareness and education programme to ensure that all MTN Sudan personnel clearly understand their responsibilities before, during and after business disruption.
- Work closely with other Divisions/Departments in MTN Sudan and external parties to establish and regularly review key business strategies in alignment with Business Continuity Management needs, including the recovery and restoration of MTN Sudan mission-critical business processes, organizations, personnel, data and equipment.
- Work closely with other Divisions/Departments in MTN Sudan in conducting risk assessments and business impact analysis in order to develop appropriate business disruption risk mitigation strategies.
- Analyse top crisis in MTN Sudan, and create, implement, and exercise their corresponding Crisis Management Plans.
- Implement, exercise, and maintain Business Continuity Management and disaster recovery plans.
- Assess and manage Risk in MTN Sudan for Business Continuity Management plans (including applications used by many business units across the enterprise), as well as coordinate and facilitate cross-enterprise business continuity management/disaster recovery exercises.
- Manage, and enforce contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs) for internal and external Business Continuity Management service providers.
- Coordinate and deliver all enterprise communications to internal management (BCM Champions, Incident Management Response Team, and BCM steering committee) and external stakeholders (regulators, auditors, customers) regarding the status of the enterprise business continuity management and IS disaster recovery program.
- Manage and monitor the execution of all recovery plans when business disruption occurs.
- Other ad hoc duties as requested
Job Requirements:
• A bachelor degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Engineering in Computer Science or Telecommunications.
• Professional qualification in IT and Networking.
• Additional professional qualifications and/or knowledge in Business Continuity Management (ISO22301) would be an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in a complex, technology-oriented industry.
• At least 3 years of working with IT, Networks, or telecommunications.
• At least 2 years of working knowledge with internal control and governance systems and environments
• Project management experience with proven competency in executing large projects, on-time and within budget, with business, technical and IS personnel.
• Solid knowledge of Telecommunications, IT, and Networks.
• Good knowledge of ISO 22301
Required Skills:
• Workshop and presentation facilitation skills.
• Analyse and assess risk on a timely manner.
• Projects implementation and execution according to Project Implementation Plan (PIP).
• Cost effectives assurance.
• Compliance to all internal/external Audit
