The Government of Japan offers scholarships to Sudanese students (university-level degree holders) who wish to study in graduate courses at Japanese universities under the Japanese Government Scholarship Program for 2018.

Qualifications
- Field of Study: Applicants should apply for the field of study they majored in at university or its related field.
- Age: Applicants must have been born on or after April 2,1983.
- Arrival in Japan: Applicants must be able to arrive to Japan in April 2018, or within two weeks of the date set by the receiving university for the beginning of the semester.
- Academic Background: Applicants have completed or will complete 16 years of school education (including undergraduate or collage)
- Nationality: Applicants must have Sudanese nationality (excluding military personnel)
Application Procedure
- Download the application guideline and form from website and prepare related documents for application.
- Submit all required documents to the Embassy of Japan in Sudan no later than June 1st, 2017 (14:00 P.M.). Late submission is not acceptable regardless of circumstances.
- Refer to the application guideline for detailed information about the required documents to submit.
- After document screening, shortlist will be announced on June 22nd, 2017.
- Shortlisted applicants will undergo a writing exam (July 4th 2017 )and those who pass will be interviewed at the Embassy of Japan in Sudan (July 6th 2017) .
