Position summery:
The primary responsibility for DAL Food’s Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CR&S) Manager is to ensure that our practices, processes, products and procedures are ethical, sustainable and environmentally friendly. The CR&S Manager will oversee the creation and implementation of our Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability strategy and help the organization understand that pursuing the strategy will enhance our, reputation, maximize long term profits and provide an organic attractor for customers and employees.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Best Practice: To advise DAL Food’s leaders and managers on global best practices with respect to Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability and to explore CR&S strategies, policies and programs of other similar organizations in similar markets that might help shape our own CS&R strategy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: To lead stakeholder engagement for the Company allowing us to analyze, document and elevate our understanding of the expectations of consumers, customers, employees, investors, Government and the broader society - with respect to responsible corporate citizenship.
  • Partnerships: To build and manage strategic alliances and coalitions with organizations and key constituency groups (local, national and international political, social, environmental groups) whose work and missions are aligned with DAL Food’s priorities and / or can impact our business positively or negatively.
  • “Being Good”: To lead a process that identifies and understands the impacts and potential impacts of our business on the environment, community, society and our people. To ensures appropriate actions are taken to minimize such impacts and mitigate against identified potential problems.
  • Strategy and policy development: In collaboration with the Social Investment Manager and key internal stakeholders across DAL Food, to drive the development of a CR&S strategy that ensures the ideas of “being good” and “doing good” become part of business planning, performance management and daily decision making and this strategy is supported by a clear policy frameworks.
  • CR&S program development and management: To help business leaders across the organization take more innovative approaches to solving business problems with sustainable / responsible solutions. To coordinate enterprise-wide “Be-Good” initiatives. To work with project managers and where appropriate brand managers to deliver CR&S programs, initiatives, and related activities
  • Goals and Measurement: In collaboration with senior leadership, develop appropriate goals, metrics and KPIs for measuring the Company’s performance with respect to CR&S objectives.


Minimum Qualification & Experience:
  •      MBA or advanced degree in relevant field preferred. 
  •       Experience within the Industry.
  •       Specific experience in one of the key disciplines: environment, community relations, supply chain, diversity, etc.
  •       10 years of experience with high-profile branded organization in a leadership role.
