Position summery:
To supervise the activities of the parts, Work in progress and end products warehouse and insure efficient handling of parts deliveries and storage of spare parts.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Organize the warehouses (parts, Work in progress and end product) to provide maximum efficiency within the warehouses.
Develop and maintain general appearance of warehouse:
a. All times warehouse shall meet highest standards of cleanliness.
b. Parts will be binned ASAP in correct location.
c. Empty cartons and pallets removed
d. Yard area will be in a very clean condition at all times
e. Bins are properly labeled
f. Receiving area, delivery area is kept clean and organized.
Pick up and deliver parts to customers at a convenient time.
Receive and check consignments against invoices for quantity and parts numbers.
Report immediately any discrepancies in quantity, excess, short and damaged parts
Report on regular basis obsolete parts to inventory supervisor.
Maintain proper and comprehensive Documentation of all warehouse activities.
Perform stock counts (physical check) regularly.
Maintain daily and weekly reporting package (invoice delivery reports, advise note report ...etc.).
Oversee and maintain safety standards.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Business Administration
- Meets essential physical requirements
Experience:
5 years in similar discipline
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of spread sheets –ms Excel and word.
- Profound knowledge of Warehousing procedures and policies.
- High safety awareness.
- Leadership skills
- Team work spirit.
- Strong sense of security.
