How
In this role your major tasks and responsibilities will be :
- Support developing and reviewing Technology Strategy, reflecting Corporate, Commercial and Group Strategies.
- Support positioning Technology as a Strategic Asset via forming Business Relationships with technology stakeholders meant for aligning. Technology Strategic Objectives with Corporate, Commercial and Technology Group.
- Cater deriving strategic initiatives from the Technology Strategy and identify milestones and KPIs.
- Support the development of the Technology strategic roadmap (3 to 5 years) in alignment with the technology blueprint.
- Update all relevant stakeholders of approved changes / updates to the Technology Strategy/Business Plan.
- Contribute to corporate Business / Financial plan by providing Technology related CapEx and OpEx estimates.
- Support developing the Technology Budget based on Business Plan and the inputs from Technology/Commercial domain managers
- Build Technology expense forecast cycles including 3+10, 6+6 and 9+15.
- Support forming Strategic Governance via enabling the Strategic Alignment Committee and Strategic Review Committee locally and with Zain Group.
- Support monitoring progress of Strategic Initiatives against predefined KPIs, escalate when required and provide input to Strategic Review Committee on progress.
- Support Technology investment VFM via governing Technology Business Cases development in alignment with Technology Portfolio Management Process.
- Assess Technology limitations / capacity (e.g. spectrum utilization) in alignment with technology L2 heads.
- Assess technology implications of regulatory requirements and direct requests to the relevant technology functions.
- Support forming Technology Innovation committee.
- Keep track of innovation and technology trends, and align with business on potential of trends in Zain context.
- You will be asked to undertake any additional relevant tasks/activities as delegated by the technology department.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies & regulatory requirements on Information Security.
What do i need
You will be required to have :
- Preferred B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Telecommunications, computer science or MIS ,with minimum 2 years of experience in telecom or relevant field.
- Background in technology planning and development or operations and architecture development.
- Knowledge in Financial planning and budgeting for telecom operators.
- Knowledge in Technology business cases development.
- Knowledge in Portfolio and program management.
- Knowledge in Business requirement analysis capabilities.
- Background in tech. costing.
