What
As part of Zain SD team you will accountable to the CT Infrastructure Operations Team Leader in supervising Operation and Maintenance for delivering the targets of availability, stability, and high quality of Zain SD CT Infrastructure and for ensuring work is conducted in line with recognised Engineering practices as well as manufacturers recommended procedures.
How
Your main key tasks / duties will be:-
- Managing CT infrastructure, and being accountable for its operations to ensure consistency and continuity in the business.
- Managing and following up with the Managed Services provided by the vendor, to ensure Network availability, service stability, and high performance & quality of CT Infrastructure.
- Liaising closely with internal customers, and coordinate and communicate their requirements with vendors and suppliers.
- Liaising with suppliers and vendors on network requirements to support the agreed network operational and expansion demands.
- Arranging with planning department to produce blue prints, and demonstrating requirements against current and future business expansion.
- Providing development contingency plans to mitigate risks/issues as Zain SD network expands and the business grows.
- Managing the contracts with vendors and third parties, and managing the work/processes between them and Managed Services team.
- Participate in creating the processes and saving work documentations.
- Managing and monitoring vendors and Managed Services KPIs and SLAs.
- Accomplishment of internal and external customers requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies & regulatory requirements on Information Security.
What do i need
You will be required to have:-- B.Sc. in Electrical/Telecommunications Engineering or similar with minimum 2 Year of experience in relevant field
- Mobile Telecommunications background is required.
- Experience in Core Network (CS or PS) in any aspect (Operations, Optimization…etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in managing vendors is preferred.
