What
As part of Zain SD team you will responsible to measure the SLA beside monitor MS project activities & performance to achieve planned target. Follow up (Execute) MS project activities : network power supervision, routine preventive maintenance, trouble shooting and remedial activities, as well as coordination of overall maintenance activities in the operation, follow the requirements and procedures defined in Zain Operating Guidelines, in order to achieve network availability and performance targets. Operations goal is to prevent any avoidable downtime through adhering to preventive maintenance routines and taking proactive measures, and assuring shortest possible reaction and remedy times, at lowest possible cost.
How
In this role your major tasks and responsibilities will be :
- Managing ,Supervising and Following MS project team the day-to-day operation and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to electrical plant and equipment, inverters, rectifiers and their batteries, generators, air conditioning and control units.
- Setting priorities, assigning subordinates, liaising with other.
- operation and maintenance supervisors to coordinate work activities, endorsing work orders and work permits, and supervising the actual execution of work on sites.
- Review and manage with managed service and operation and technical reports including but not limited to: technical, statistical, and management reports related to operations and activities such as tickets, escalations, problem management, etc.) Managing Routine safety checks for the electricity, electrical cables, and batteries.
- Investigates and troubleshoots maintenance problems and implements the
- Company's work permit procedures.
- Provide uninterruptable power and cooling to ensure availability and operability of all workshop equipment.
- Good supervisory skills to supervise MS vender and power service contractors to ensure their power works achieve the appropriate standard.
- Check the contractor’s payments and invoices.
- Good team working ability, willing to exchange ideas with other team members.
- Good communicator and be effective in prioritizing and organizing workloads to meet deadlines.
- Need to be flexible to travel national worldwide and hence stay away from home when required.
- Managing the contracts with vendors and third parties, and managing the work/processes between them and Managed Services team.
- Managing and monitoring vendors and Managed Services KPIs and SLAs.
- Dimension Power elements based on Zain network requirements, business forecasts and operational trends includes theoretical studies, Case studies for Power solutions and perform urgent plans to meet the changes in network design and needs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies & regulatory requirements on Information Security.
What do i need
You will be required to have :-- BSC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Power Systems, Control and Electrical Machines) with Minimum 2 years previous experience in related field essential
- Mobile Telecommunications background desirable.
- Should have previous strong knowledge and experience in managing outsource, installation, trouble shooting and maintenance activities of electrical systems and equipment’s and Prior experience with deployment or operation of telecom power equipment, smart grid (Alternative solutions) technologies & tools and control systems.
- Professional qualification preferred
Also you will be asked to have In-depth knowledge :-
- Broad understanding of the Mobile Telecoms industry.
- Good understanding of the Sudan market and Zain business strategy, goals and competitive environment.
- In-depth knowledge of planning and system audit tools and methodologies.
- Excellent understanding of developing diagrams and installation.
- Understanding of the relevant regulatory, legal and other contextual factors impacting on the successful management of network projects within the Sudan market.
- Understanding of GSM network mobile operations, products and services.
