Job Summary:
• The Security Manager manages the development and maintenance of a structured and secured environment and capabilities within IS that are compliant with the highest security standards which ensures the availability, Confidentiality, Integrity, improvement and protection of IS investment.
• He/she is also the focal point to plan, monitor, account and protect the IS investment in the outsourcing commitment to core strategic alliances and key partners to ensure they meet MTN Security Standards.
• Additionally, Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing and guaranteeing all the service provider adherence and compatibility with company security standards.
Description:
• 3+ years of experience in IS filed, preferably in multiple disciplines such as Application Development and Management, Infrastructure Management, IS Security Management.
• Experience in IS Security management working across multiple business units in previous organizations.
Required Skills:
• Must have the ability to manage and coach teams.
• Must have the ability to manage stakeholders’ and senior management expectations.
• Must have the ability to perform negotiations, conflict resolution and persuasion.

Description:
- Develop, coordinate, update and approve IS Security policy and procedures for the insourcing/outsourcing operational environment.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of an ongoing IS Strategy.
- Provide a standard in managing the existing strategic IS alliances, while building and introducing future IS alliances as demand warranted it.
- Monitor the accountability for the alliances agreed security standards and their adherence to it including the Alliance/vendor/internal departments.
- Managing the small security incidents and vulnerabilities issues before they become costly big and major threats, risk or attack.
- Monitoring the Alliances performance in order to avoid operational interruption through preventing potential threats and security breaches.
- Provide coaching and career development administrative tasks like recruitment and budgeting for the Information System Security
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor or Master Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent degree. • 3+ years of experience in IS filed, preferably in multiple disciplines such as Application Development and Management, Infrastructure Management, IS Security Management.
