Job Summary: 
• The FO & Process Expert is responsible for the smooth running of the day to day operations and Maintenance of the Front office Network of MTN Sudan Network. 
• Working in Network Managed Service Operations, will work on a range of technologies as defined by the network portfolio (including Core CS/PS, Radio (2G/3G/4G) & Transport). 
• The role may specialize in one or more of the technologies but will be expected to work across all of them. 
• The Individual needs to drive the managed Service in terms of achieving the business goals. 
• Ensure high quality network experience for MTN Sudan customers 
• Manage and supervise the managed service operations and ensure that all contractual SLAs are met.
Description: 
  •     Ensure the appliance of operation process and procedures in line with MTN-Sudan policy.
  •     Coordinates all configuration and management changes to the network with partners, customers, and upper management as required.
  •     Responsible to manage on-going day to day FO operations, by providing assistance, guidance and advice or taking appropriate action in order to effectively resolve conflict, problems and escalations, Respond to real time events, escalations and day to day operational needs through the effective deployment to meet operational expectations and agreed service levels.
  •     Responsible for the Operational management, Fault management, Configuration Management Performance Management, Customer Complaint and Routine Processes for FACTS/NMS& OSS Systems.
  •     Apply governance procedure to grantee full control on outsource Company.
  •     Manage the Vendor managed services processes to ensure that they are performing as per the agreed SLA.
  •     Validate and confirm all FO reports on good time manner
  •     Monitor and control all WLA agreements between suppliers
  •     Ensure that vendors develop processes and procedures for all aspects of their work
  •     Ensure the high availability and redundancy of the front office systems.
  •     Supervise the change to comply with the change control management.
  •     Ensure that MTN operation policies and procedures are adhered to.
  •     Insure the changes are fully compliant with the change control management.
  •     Supervise the integration and acceptance of new equipment’s and features within NMS & FACTS.
  •     Comply with policies and functional procedures pertaining for Operations Sections.
  •     Work closely with planning / design team to assist on finalizing the future plan of expansion and growth.
  •     Manages tracks and keeps an accounting of all spares for the front office systems,  and maintains proper levels to reduce outages and losses to the company
  •     Escalates and makes recommendations concerning major outages to upper management
  •     Manage the spare parts for all front office systems
  •     To submit reports to designated management, as per the standing instructions.
  •     Respond to simple and straight forward requests for management information and data from within the Core according to agreed timescales, formats and specifications in order to facilitate decision making.
  •     Establish well-defined and effective communication channels between the NOC team leaders, vendors, internal and external customers.
  •     Verify the submitted changes are meeting the technical requirements. Give recommendations to reduce the down time.
  •     Interact with other units and attend Weekly change management meetings with other technical team.
  •     Prepare and submit reports related to managed service performance and maintenance KPI’s.
  •     Maintain focus, discipline and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  •     Responsible to continually review, Implement and maintain departmental processes in order to meet the SLA/OLA and to improve the quality of service provided.
  •     Ensure that vendors develop processes and procedures for all aspects of their work
  •     Follow all internal and external audit reports and insure that all findings are resolved in the agreed time.

  •     Adhere to MTN Internal process and procedures.
  •     Perform Ad-Hoc duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements: 
• Bachelor Degree in Telecommunications or Electronics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/. 
• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience
Required Skills: 
• Computer literacy. 
• Relationship Management skills. 
• Proven communication skills including tact and diplomacy. 
• Strong planning ability and organizational skills. 
• Experience in team management. 
• Understand MTN-Sudan’s plans and strategies and plan
