Position summery:
Handling logistics activities of spare parts with the objective of ensuring smooth delivery for the spare parts and shipping documents to the final destination or end user.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- To receives the shipping documents from the parts operation supervisor or order controller and to make sure all documents are complete and in line with customs authority policies and regulations.
- To coordinate with DAL clearance to perform the inbound formalities for the consignments to ensure all documents are presented to respective authorities and customs in the appropriate time.
- Issue, communicate service requests to DAL clearance and follow up till receipt of spare parts or shipping documents.
- Share progress of consignments clearance with concerned parties.
- To assists in performing the non-customs formalities related to, IM forms from the bank and transportation.
- To request and follow up parts inland insurance when needed.
- Maintain regular reporting package circulation.
- Undertakes lead time measures for the importation processes and communicates with DAL clearance for improvements.
- Undertakes suppliers/forwarders/shipping agent’s delivery performance measures, and communicate for improvements to operation supervisor and parts manager.
- To receive the consignments assessments and to report the relevant costs measures.
- Update and advice on freight estimates on regular basis.
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
Academic Achievements:
- University degree in business administration or relevant qualification.
- Supply chain management certification.
Experience:
Minimum Three Years experience in related field.
