Job Summary:
• Create the best gaming experience for MTN Sudan customers. And work collaboratively with 3rd parties companies (software engineers, artists and designers) and cross-functional teams to build, launch, and analyse game features.
Description:
Strategy Implementation & Planning:
1. Ensure effective implementation of the MTN Life Style strategy in line with the overarching business goals and ensure that MTN maintains and improves its leadership positioning within Life Style area.
Governance:
1. Set up / participate in adhoc and operational meetings.
2. Manage and resolve escalations that have impact on critical path of service delivery.
3. Escalate issues that will result in significant time, scope, employees / customers or cost impacts if not resolved.
4. Manage and provide solutions to issues that require formal resolution.
Performance:
5. Review performance against agreed KPIs and compliance to SLAs.
6. Create and monitor plan for continuous improvement.
Reporting:
7. Report on a monthly basis to management relating to progress made within the sub-division and in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organisation.
8. Report on an ad hoc basis on specific projects as and when necessary.
Budgets:
1. Manage sub-divisional budgets in line with business objectives.
2. Manage project or initiative budgets in line with business objectives.
Operational Delivery:
Gaming Operations Management:
Generate new features and game ideas as well as maximizing engagement, virally and monetization for current gaming portals.
Create the best gameplay, design and game experience for MTN Sudan customers
Manage the entire game development cycle, from creative concepts to development to release.
Oversee daily/weekly QA processes and taking relevant actions work to ensure timely and successful launches.
Use both a hands-on and data-driven approach to ensure that product decisions are based on in-depth data analysis.
Keep up with game industry trends, patterns, and requirements.
Plan the gaming roadmap and ensure the timely release and success of the product.
Manage external suppliers when necessary.
Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports for gaming and provide daily, weekly and monthly reports on sales targets, variances and games.
Process and Procedure Effectiveness:
Input into the defining and monitoring of the execution of gaming management processes and procedures for MTN operations.
Assist with the improvement of existing processes and procedures to enhance effectiveness, efficiency and performance.
Customer Satisfaction:
Align service delivery to changing needs of the business and markets.
Understand customer needs and develop and fine-tune initiatives accordingly.
Ensure customer needs and requirements are satisfied through appropriate systems, processes and procedures.
Initiate change to continually improve all aspects of service delivery.
Drive continuous improvement as an important element of service delivery.
Identify trends and patterns pertaining to customer requests and needs to continually.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Telecommunication, or any relevant field. Post-graduation in the related subject is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in area of specialization.
• Experience working in a medium to large organization.
