What
To be fully accountable to the Retail Sales Team Leader for the effective supervision of the assigned retail shop and the implementation of Zain’s Retail best practices, policies and strategy. To ensure that the Retail approach, standards, processes and procedures are effectively, efficiently Implemented and regularly reviewed and measured against standards
How
You will be responsible :
- To deliver the agreed upon sales targets as well as all Retail KPI’s for the assigned shop.
- To monitor the retail service level (SL), as well as the waiting & serving times to ensure that the retail shop is efficiently running as per the Retail strategy and agreed upon SL & serving and waiting time targets.
- Act as first line support to franchisees in all company related activities and that includes but not limited to commission communication, products launches, price changes…ect.
- To communicate the approved retail strategy, work objectives and operation policies and processes to the retail agents in a very clear and understandable manner.
- Frequently report shop operation to the Retail Team leader for all retail KPI’s and recommend ways to improve business operation for the shop.
- To manage all shops agents for all daily sales activities as well as manage directly customer complaints and inquires through the required system and to ensure problems/issues are identified and resolved or appropriately escalated at an early stage.
- To manage and monitor closely the shop incoming cash flow from bill payment and any other sources and make sure the amounts are accurately credited to the bank on the agreed upon dates.
- Is responsible of the staff products and services knowledge through directly sharing new products releases and products' rules changes, price changes and staff knowledge test.
- To manage and supervise the teams’ work shifts and working hours to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted workflow to achieve the business targets.
- Is responsible for the management of stock levels and make sure the stocks are always sufficient against the shop sales.
- To collaborate with the franchisee in order to manage stocks level, agents hiring and discipline, cash flow reconciliation with the bank and any issue regarding shop maintenance & operation and shop look and feel.
- Manage the shop customers’ suggestion box and reflect the results of both the suggestion box and mystery shopper results to the franchisee and work on them for business improvement.
- To ensure that work is carried out with regard to technical and professional standards and to meet all regulatory and legal requirements as well as understand and follow the information security contingency plans that are in place.
- To manage the shop petty cash for the miscellaneous shop requirements and follow with Finance on the agreed upon reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable policies & regulatory requirements on Information Security.
What do I need:
- Educated to university degree.
- Minimum 2 years previous experience of an administrative role in a private sector organisation is mandatory.
- Ability to communicate in Arabic and English is mandatory.
- Understanding of budgetary and resource management and control policies and processes.
- Good understanding of best practice Change Management processes and methodologies
- Applicant should be from the respective region or able to live there.
